Best Deals in Melbourne

Eats and Hangovers

I have collated the best restaurant deals in Melbourne so you can have your cake and eat it too!

GOOD TIMES PASTA

Fitzroy

Good times pasta is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Not very often do you get the perfect trade off between taste and price but here you definitely do. The pasta isn't fresh, its your normal spaghetti but the sauces are made with care, the portions are very generous, and they only cost $9 (with a few option such a bolognese going up to $13). They also do $9 Negronis and Carafes so you're guaranteed a good time - and the shop itself is so cute (I would recommend trying to get in the courtyard!)

DON TOJO

Carlton / Parkville

Don Tojo is such an amazing find when you stumble across their unassuming store front. Inside you will find the most generous portions of absolutely scrumptious Japanese curries. For just $8.60 you're treated to this massive bowl and even though you don't need it, how could you not add on 10 spring rolls for $4! And maybe you add on a beer for another $4 - you definitely do - and have yourself the perfect night out (or in)! (btw they don't have a website, social media, or phone number so you'll have to find them to try)

EL CAMINO CANTINA

Fitzroy

El Camino is the perfect place for a night out with friends. There's a deal on everyday - but all you really need is their $7.50 margaritas (that are massive) and free chips and salsa from 4-6pm!

(this is not my photo - I will replace when I am able to take one myself)

NAKED FOR SATAN

Fitzroy

Naked for satan is another personal favourite. While they have an amazing rooftop restaurant, stop instead in the dingier ground floor bar for $3.50 burgers on Mondays and Tuesdays. They have chicken, beef, and veg options so everyone will leave very happy.

(this is not my photo - will replace soon)

RICE PAPER SCISSORS

Various locations inc. Fitzroy

Rice Paper Scissors is probably my absolute favourite restaurant in Melbourne. My go to whenever I'm showing others around the city. The food is seriously to die for and the cocktails are so impressive & fun. The best part? During lunch for just $32 a head you get to choose 5 dishes off the menu to share with the table - an absolute steal considering the quality you receive.
