New and impressive Asian fare from @southside_restaurant

So exciting to see brisbane grow and this new development in Fish Lane is exactly what we needed. The people behind Rick shores on the GC have brought their magic to Brisbane and it doesn’t disappoint. 

Swipe to see the decadent outdoor area. They’ve somehow made an under utilised space in Brisbane (under a train line!) into a magical and glamours space. The inside is quite different but just as beautiful with dim lighting and clean concrete. 

The food is great, I have to say it didn’t quite live up to my expectations due to its hype, however it’s still a great addition to the brisbane food scene and we’re lucky to have it.  Fish lane may be the new HSW soon if more restaurants follow in their footsteps. 

In addition to the above we also got the pork buns, xiao long bao, Sichuan fried chicken, fried rice, and steamed veg. All were good, none really stuck out to me as must orders though - in this case I’d say just get what sounds best at the time 😊
