This place is insanely popular in brisbane for special occasions, work dinners, and the like. You can’t deny it’s delicious and definitely one of the most up scale restaurants in Brisbane. The service is impeccable and the fit out of the restaurant is beautiful - reminds me of some of the best steakhouses I’ve visited in Singapore and New York.
While the food is delicious, and worth a very high price, the current pricing is just too steep for me to think this is really worth a revisit. Especially when paying $70 for a steak it seems ott to then pay for sauce and not have it included for example. Plus the amount of money you’re then going to spend on the (admittedly amazing) sides - because no one wants just steak. If you do go I would highly recommend the risotto and mash potato. Also while the sirloin was great, if you’re trying to not spend too much the petite eye fillet was perfect for me.
If you have your heart set on this place - for sure check it out. You won’t be disappointed. But if you’ve been considering it, wondering if you’re missing out on this steak but hesitant with the price, I’d say don’t bother. Go to @waltersbrisbane imo. Brisbane has some great steaks for much more reasonable prices, such as @moomoorestaurant and more.
