Shandong Mama Mini

This is the laneway version of their popular restaurant. I love how thin their dumpling wrappers are, but I do think they could have been crisper. The mackerel was so fluffy inside, such an interesting texture and the flavour was really fresh. The pork and dill were also really delicious, the dill really brightened the dish. Also this bao may not look like much but it was also incredibly flavourful. 
The place is tiny, in a busy laneway, and all counter service. So all in all a very causal eatery. Overall I think it was good, if you work near by I think it’s a good spot to check out. I probably wouldn’t go back unless I happened to be in the area, but I do want to try their location.
