Rice Queen

Another day another average dinner… 

This was a $59 banquet, not bad value honestly but the food just wasn’t that great. The sundried tomato on the kingfish really didn’t make sense to me, plus the texture of the fish was a bit different to what I’m used to. The bang bang chicken was cold poached chicken so unexpected and not really in a good way. The lamb bao and the fried chicken were probably the best of the bunch but also not that special tbh. The massman curry and side platter were nice, but the beef wasn’t as tender as most massaman’s. The atmosphere also wasn’t fab, nothing stood out to me on the cocktail list and what we did order didn’t quite live up to expectations. So can’t quite complain, everything is good but wouldn’t go back. 

This place also has a kareoke room in the back so that could be a good reason to come if you wanted to have dinner and do that after, but other than I really can’t say I’d recommend this place.
