Fran Soir

So so so so so delicious. France soir really lived up the hype for me. It was packed at 5pm on a Sunday, so the atmosphere was great. The service was kind too. 
The oysters were fresh, the onion soup was the best I’ve ever had, the bread was delicious, and the steak was great value for a restaurant of this calibre (we got the streak frites). I can’t say the steak was the best I’ve ever had, but it was very good. And to be fair their more expensive steaks are probably better if you’re there specifically for a nice piece if meat. The pepper sauce was also so perfectly creamy. The only thing I didn’t love was the apple tart. It was a texture I wasn’t expecting, I was hoping for more of a warm apple pie vibe. But there other desserts looked good too. 
It ended up being $90 per person, including wine for both of us. I think that for a nice restaurant I was happy to pay this for the quality and quantity of food.
