Look at this neon Szechuan restaurant in Sunnybank!

One thing I really want to do more of is explore the restaurants in Sunnybank, but sadly I don’t live too close, so I was so excited to get to eat here.

The fit out is very cool. It’s a fun relatively traditional menu with some modern drinks and cocktails. I love the vibe.

We ordered the pork beans, snail meat chicken, and the whole sizzling barramundi. All the dishes are a little expensive, but the portions are really large. The beans were good. The chicken was a little too oily and not super flavourful. The barramundi was definitely the best, it came in a super flavourful and spicy sauce which I really enjoyed. Definitely a show stopper with it sizzling st your table. The lychee soda was good too, and came in a very fun (but disposable?) cup!

The staff were definitely a little overwhelmed. Despite having a booking we still had to wait outside for a while, and it was pretty difficult to get the staffs attention even once sat. The place was busy though which is great to see!

Overall, I think they have some good options for tasty food and fun drinks! If you can handle the heat I’d defintely recommend the fish! Thank you so much for the invite @daikiaus
