Bill's

Breakfast from @billsaustralia šŸ˜Š

I had heard so much about this place that I absolutely just had to try it - but I don’t think it lived up to the hype.

The interior of the Darlinghurst store was amazing, and the vibes were immaculate for a brunch. The service was also really top notch. However while the food was good, it wasn’t what I was expecting nor do I think it was worth the money. The fritters were deep fried which I know happens at a few places, but I don’t get it.
An ultra crispy fritter which feels really unhealthy and didn’t have that much flavour isn’t my vibe. Along with the scrambled eggs - they looked so silky from the outside, but I soon realised they were just a block. The avocado toast was pretty, but nothing special going on and not the greatest serving size.

Overall I think that it was nice to go and worth it for the vibes, it’s definitely not a bad breakfast so it’s a great place to try if you live in Sydney, but if you’re visiting and only have a few places you can try I’d give this one a skip. Definitely not the ā€œinstitutionā€ that the internet made it out to be.
